Dhanush’s Mapillai

This is a long time wait for next Dhanush film.After the release of padikadhavan Dhanush has said that he will be acting in more comedy featured movies.Well we can see that in Kutty, which will be a comedy based one.Now here is some info about Dhanush’s next film mapillai.yea, this is the Title that already had rajinikanth as the hero.The new version of mapillai is directed by Suraaj and produced by Namichand Jhabak.BUt Sun Pictures has taken this movie now.Yes this movie is going to be added in Sun pictures Hit List.

When Talking about the story of the film, it may the same script with some changes. One of the main charecters of the film is the mother-in-law charecter.Late actress Sri vidhya played the character of the villainy mother-in-law in the original version. The director had many choices like Kushboo, Nadhiya, Simran, Anu Haasan. Anu Hasan accepted the offer but she wanted her costumes to be modern. But as it wont suit the charecter, he approached  Sridevi for the role. She said ok but asked for a big fee of 80lakhs excluding taxes. This seemed to be a hue amount for the team so the search is going on. And finally there is a decision to cast Tabu.

As usual it seems a good winning combination.Manisharma is scoring the music for the film,so we can expect some good sound tracks.

Dhanush in Aadukalam

Dhanush’s next movie  ‘Aadukalam’  will bring Dhanush and Trisha together for the first time.

The film is based on a true incident that happened in Madurai few years ago.An Anglo-Indian Girl falling in love with a low-caste boy roaming jobless across the streets and problems faced by them from the society.Vetrimaran is directing the film,With G.V. Prakash scoring music, Sun Pictures has taken the production of this film.

storyline :

Radhakrishnan (Dhanush) happens to be the only uneducated person in his entire house. His father (Pratap Pothan) is so distressed and annoyed about him all the time. But his other family members are so kind to him.. He meets an Engineering student (Thamannah) and it’s love at first sight. There are dream sequences, hatred and finally love blossoming appears. Then getting married with a well educated girl transcend his life.

Review :

First this is not a satisfying film,as it has many scenes that have been copied from many other Telugu movies.Dhanush has done his part well in the film.The comedies by Dhanush and Vivek were Good.The highlight for the film is the songs.Manisharma has done an excellent work and the songs were so good.This will be an added list to Dhanush’s Hit songs.The worst part of the movie is because of the directors mistakes.This movie is not up to the expexted,as Dhanush had his previous movies yaradi nee mohini and Polladhavan with good scripts.The songs were capturedin a perfect location.On the whole we can watch the movie once.Not a bad movie,Dont go with Expectations.
